SOMETHING EVERYONE KIND-OF KNOWS, BUT ALMOST NOBODY APPRECIATES.

Saying leafy greens are “good” for us, is the nutritional equivalent of saying True Love is “fine”.

So nice and short… here’s the point:

· Romaine Lettuce is 18% Protein! And has a greater than 2:1 ratio of omega 3 : omega 6, so it’s a great omega 3 booster whether you eat fish or not.

· Kale is 16% Protein. Has more iron per serving than beef, but 0 trans or saturated fats. 1 serving has 2x your minimum daily Vitamin A, almost 1.5x your daily minimum Vitamin C, and nearly 7x your daily minimum Vitamin K.

These are just 2 examples, but like all dark leafy greens, they are loaded in dietary fibre to keep you feeling full, Which is major contributor to it’s effect on weight loss, for more on that read our “how your stomach really thinks” tip.
